Place eggs in a stock pot and fill with water until the eggs are covered with approximately an inch of water.
Add salt.
Cover the pot with a lid and bring it to a boil.
Leaving the lid on the pot, remove it from the heat.
Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 30 minutes.
Drain and rinse the eggs with cold water until the eggs are cool enough to touch.
Gently crack the surface of the shell in multiple places and peel the shell.
