Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
You may need to add another tablespoon or two of milk if the glaze is too thick.
To Coat the Pastry
Place parchment paper under a wire rack.
Dunk pastry in the glaze to coat and place on the wire rack.
If you wish to coat a large item like a bunt, cake, or bread, slowly pour the glaze over the pastry until coated.
