Melt butter in a Dutch Oven or other 6-7 quart pot.
Once the butter is melted, remove the pot from the heat and add sugar.
Once combined, mix in sifted cocoa.
Ensure the butter, sugar, and cocoa mixture has cooled below 100℉.
Add eggs, salt, and vanilla to the mixture and combine thoroughly.
Add ¾ cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the mixture.
Line an 8 x 8 baking pan with parchment paper.
Once everything EXCEPT the flour has been mixed thoroughly, GENTLY mix in the flour until combined. Do NOT over-mix the flour!
Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 33-35 minutes @ 350℉.
Remove it from the oven and allow it to cool before removing it from the pan.
Store in an airtight container.
