Tomato Sauce
Homemade tomato sauce made from fresh tomatoes picked from garden. No need to buy canned when you can make everything at home.

Ingredients
- 5 lbs Tomatoes - fresh
Instructions
- Set up the saucer as instructed.
- Rinse the tomatoes thoroughly.
- Core and cut tomatoes down to smaller pieces to allow them to be processed.
- Place the tomato pieces into the saucer hopper.
- Use the plunger to press the tomato pieces gently into the hole of the hopper.
- Turn the crank on the saucer to operate.
- As needed, continue to add tomatoes to the hopper until all pieces have been processed.

- Tomato sauce can be stored in many ways. You can store it in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can portion the sauce into 1-quart freeze bags and freeze it for up to a year. Or you could pressure can the sauce in mason jars for shelf storage for up to a year.
- Another great storage option would be to portion it into ice cube trays and freeze it. You can then use it for your favorite cocktails, like a Bloody Mary, or to cool down a bowl of soup.
