Hard-Boilded Eggs

How to cook the perfect hard-boiled egg!

Ingredients

  • 12 Egg
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • Water

Instructions

  • Place eggs in a stock pot and fill with water until the eggs are covered with approximately an inch of water.
  • Add salt.
  • Cover the pot with a lid and bring it to a boil.
  • Leaving the lid on the pot, remove it from the heat.
  • Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 30 minutes.
  • Drain and rinse the eggs with cold water until the eggs are cool enough to touch.
  • Gently crack the surface of the shell in multiple places and peel the shell.

Notes

Culinarian Tips, Tricks, and Suggestions:  We have found that you can store peeled eggs in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and unpeeled eggs for up to 7 days.
