Honey Ginger Syrup
A sweet, smooth beverage mixer combining the sweetness of honey with the natural zing of fresh ginger.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Honey
- 1 cup Water
- ¾ cup Fresh Ginger - peeled & sliced
Instructions
- Peel and slice the ginger into cubes approximately ¼" square.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the honey, water, and ginger.
- Place over medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer for approximately 20-30 minutes or until the mixture reduces in volume by roughly a third.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and let it stand for 5 minutes.
- Pour through a strainer into a jar and allow it to cool.

Culinarian Tips, Tricks, and Suggestions:
We have found that the strained ginger cubes that have been infused with honey also make for an excellent cocktail mixer. Store them in a small jar in the refrigerator or place them in a freezer bag and store them in the freezer for later use. When you are ready to use them, place them in a cocktail shaker and use a muddler to break them down to use your next cocktail creation.
