Appalachian BBQ Sauce
A sweet, tangy barbecue sauce with a hint of heat.
Servings: 16 oz
Ingredients
- ½ cup Mayonnaise
- ½ cup Ketchup
- 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- ½ cup Dark Brown Sugar
- ¼ cup Pepper Jelly
- 2 tsp Chipotles in Adobo - canned
- ¾ tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1½ tsp Black Pepper
- ½ tsp Cornstarch
- ½ tsp Water
Instructions
- In a small dish combine the cornstarch and water to make a slurry paste.
- In a separate medium-size mixing bowl, combine all of the remaining ingredients.
- Add the cornstarch and water mixture to the sauce to thicken your desired thickness.
